Greek Myths: Ovid I - Reading Diary B

The second part of my reading diary will be still focused on Ovid I from the Greek Mythology.

Echo -  This story was certainly an interesting story.  It did have a tragic ending for Echo, seeing that she could never talk to and touch the one man she loved.
Narcissus - Narcissus's fate was certainly foretold by Bacchus.  It was because that he did not pay attention to Bacchus's prediction that he became a flower and failed to live a long and happy life.

Pyramus and Thisbe - It is a Greek myth version of the story of Romeo and Juliet.  A sweet story, which lasts longer in time than Romeo and Juliet, but one that is still sad all the same.
Thisbe at the wall (Wikimedia
Mars and Venus - It was an interesting story that had an ending where the just got what they deserved.

Perseus and Andromeda - This story was about turning Atlas into a mountain and then Andromeda is saved by Perseus who then becomes her husband.

Perseus and Medusa - In this myth, Perseus told the story about how Medusa was turned into the fearsome Gorgon that everyone knows about.
